Below is the transcript of the interview with CNBC-TV18's Menaka Doshi and Sonia Shenoy.
Menaka: What do you make of the fact that we found it difficult to sustain above 8100 today? Does that worry you at all or do you think this is a temporary minor correction?
A: I don't think it worries me at all. On the contrary it is quite positive. So, if at all we go through the discussions which had been happening in the market over the last few days extending up to a month in various forums including in the media that when will the so called correction come in? So, this is that so called correction which how long will sustain we don't know. I don't think it will be going down significantly. In fact yesterday also we had some intraday correction in the market though on a net basis market closed negative but it was higher from the days low.
Today it is trending close towards the day's low which is a very healthy sign. It gives an opportunity for some people who had got left out, it gives an opportunity for the additional money to come in at lower price points, lower valuations. So, it is quite positive and I think market should remain overall in a positive trend.
