Banks, NBFC top picks: Sudarshan Sukhani

Sudarshan Sukhani of s2analytics.com is of the view that Rural Electrification Corporation (REC), Power Finance Corporation Limited (PFC), LIC Housing Finance and the private and public sector banks are the top picks.

Sudarshan Sukhani of s2analytics.com told CNBC-TV18, "Banks have corrected a bit and they have already started a rally but banks and non-banking financial companies would be my top picks. Stocks like  Rural Electrification Corporation  (REC),  Power Finance Corporation  Limited (PFC),  LIC Housing Finance  and the private and public sector banks, they have just finished their corrections. That is the segment most favoured."

On October 14, 2014 Power Finance Corporation closed at Rs 249.50, up Rs 8.85, or 3.68 percent. It has touched an intraday high of Rs 252.30 and an intraday low of Rs 241.50.
